Mi Viaje de allá para aquí
I am of Salvadorian nationality.
I am 24 years of age.
I have a sister who is 6 years of age.
I took the trip with my daughter.
We took the hardest route.
*
The trip started with 15 people.
We traveled in a small truck
And then a bus.
*
We had to cross a river
to enter Mexico.
There was fear in my heart.
I imagined the boat
turning over.
Then
Thanks to God
all went well.
We arrived in Mexico.
*
We stayed overnight
at a ranch.
It was filled with fleas.
We had two days
with no food.
My daughter asked me for food.
I had none to give her.
I cried so much.
But I kept my faith
in my God
and in the Virgin of Guadalupe.
*
The easiest part of the trip
was
finding
immigration.
*
I advise people to think
Long
and
Hard
BEFORE
making the journey
because
The trip
is
very
hard. . .
